The RBF Beauty Future artist Scholarship

Scholarship Purpose

The RBF Beauty Future Artist Scholarship was created to give a deserving young woman the opportunity to build a career in the beauty industry—regardless of her financial circumstances.

The selected recipient will receive a fully funded Lash and Brow Apprenticeship through RBF Beauty and Esthetics. This scholarship is intended for someone who is passionate about the beauty industry, committed to learning a skilled trade, and may not otherwise have access to college or career education.

This is more than free training. It is an opportunity to develop professional skills, earn a license, and create a path toward independence and long-term success.

What the scholarship covers

• Full Lash and Brow Apprenticeship tuition

• Student kit, products, tools, and required materials

• State application and licensing fees

• Required written and practical examination fees

• Instruction, mentorship, and apprenticeship supervision

• Any additional required curriculum or training materials

 

*Things not covered-

transportation, childcare, compensation for missed work, replacement supplies, retesting fees, or optional products

eligibility requirements

The applicant should:

• Be at least 16 years old, a high school senior or recent graduate (2025, 2026)

• Live in Utah and be able to attend all required in-person training

• Meet Utah’s current eligibility requirements for the Eyelash and Eyebrow Technician apprenticeship and license

• Demonstrate a genuine financial barrier to attending college or vocational training

• Have a sincere interest in lashes, brows, esthetics, or the beauty industry

• Be willing and able to complete the entire apprenticeship

• Have reliable transportation or a dependable transportation plan

• Be prepared to complete assignments, practice requirements, testing, and state licensing requirements

• Agree to maintain professional conduct, attendance, communication, and sanitation standards

• Not already be enrolled in or have completed an equivalent licensing program

Requirements to apply

• Fill out questionnaire

• Send in one reference from a teacher, employer, coach, church leader, community leader, or another unrelated adult who can speak to the applicant’s character and reliability   ( Needs to include: Reference’s name,  Phone number                             Email address,  How long they have known the applicant)

 

Recipient expectations

The recipient will agree to:

• Attend all the required training, as per state requirements 

• Arrive on time and communicate appropriately about emergencies

• Complete all assignments, practice hours, and model requirements

• Follow sanitation, safety, and professional-conduct standards

• Treat clients, models, instructors, and other students respectfully

• Care for the supplies and equipment provided

• Complete licensing applications and testing within the required timeframe

• Participate in periodic progress meetings

• Notify you promptly if circumstances threaten her ability to continue

The scholarship may be discontinued for abandonment, dishonesty, repeated unexcused absences, unsafe conduct, or serious policy violations.
